Sexual Health Awareness and Prevention Program (SHAPP)

The Sexual Health Awareness and Prevention Program (SHAPP) is a comprehensive community health initiative focused on HIV education, testing, and prevention. SHAPP works to close the gap in HIV awareness and prevention by bringing essential resources directly to where people live, learn, and connect.

Our program provides individuals with accurate information about HIV/AIDS, prevention, and risk reduction, empowering them to make informed choices for their health and well-being. In addition to education, SHAPP offers free HIV and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing both onsite at our medical center and through free home HIV testing kits available via our website.

For individuals living with HIV/AIDS, SHAPP offers support in accessing ongoing care and treatment, as well as guidance for those seeking PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) or PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) services.

Our mission is to reduce new HIV diagnoses and help bring an end to the HIV epidemic. While our services are open to all, SHAPP places a special focus on youth and young adults, recognizing their critical role in shaping a healthier future. Through community workshops, educational sessions, and participation in health fairs and outreach events, SHAPP continues to promote awareness, empowerment, and lasting change.
