The Center for Family & Child Enrichment

The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization that serves:

Children who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned;
Children with severe emotional disturbances and in need of mental health care;
Children in the custody of parents or relatives who are chronic runaways and/or are ungovernable

What We Do

Child and Family Services

In-Home Non-Judicial (IHNJ) Program, At Risk Group Home, Home Recruitment and Licensing Department, and Freedom Schools Program

Behavioral Health

Individual and Family Therapy, Domestic Violence Group Therapy Services, Substance Abuse Treatment, Psychiatric Services, and Targeted Case Management.

Community Based Youth Intervention

The Intervention Program is designed to help families whose youth exhibit risk factors that make them more susceptible to becoming involved with the juvenile delinquency or dependency systems.

Sexual Health Awareness & Prevention

Sexual Health Awareness and Prevention Program

The Sexual Health Awareness and Prevention Program (SHAPP) is a comprehensive community health initiative focused on HIV education, testing, and prevention.

Federally Qualified Health Center

The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), offers an array of preventative health services from experienced doctors in Miami Gardens. The Center for Family & Child Enrichment (CFCE) expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center. Our on-site services include general and sick care for adults and children, OB/GYN, dental services, nutrition programs and a variety of preventive services. The center also offers services under the Nurse-Family Partnership to young expecting mothers.
