Help CFCE Foster Children and Program Participants Thrive: Donate To Our 2024 School Backpack Drive

Together, we can empower children and set them on the path to success by providing needed supplies!

School Kids

Remember How Proud You Were On The First Day Of School With Your New Outfit, Backpack, and Lunchbox?

Many of the children and youth who receive care through the Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) don't have these fond memories.

Living in foster or residential homes, participating in youth intervention programs, or receiving treatment at our Health and Wellness Center, these young individuals are often displaced and struggling with unfamiliar environments, behavioral issues, anger, substance abuse, and financial hardships.

Help us ensure that children under CFCE care start the school year ready to succeed. Your support can transform lives and build a brighter future for our community.

Help them have priceless school memories as well!

“This backpack means more than just school supplies to us,” Sarah said. “It represents hope and support from a community that cares. Knowing my children will go to school prepared gives me peace of mind and allows me to focus on other challenges we face. I am forever grateful to CFCE and everyone who made this possible.”

HOW TO PLAN A BACKPACK DRIVE

Create company back to school backpack D

Contact Sheila in the Development Department at development@cfceinc.org to organize your backpack Drive.

By organizing a back-to-school backpack drive for CFCE, your group or company can make a tangible difference in the lives of foster children.

Not only will you help equip them with the necessary tools for academic success, but you will also show them that their community cares. Together, we can empower these children to start the school year with confidence and hope. Let's join hands and make this drive a resounding success!

Steps:

  1. Get Help from Your Team: Gather a dedicated group of volunteers from your organization who are passionate about helping foster children. Assign roles to ensure the drive runs smoothly.

  2. Set Goals and Scope: Determine the number of backpacks and supplies you aim to collect. Understand the specific needs by contacting CFCE or visiting their website for a list of required items.

  3. Create a Plan and Timeline: Outline the steps and deadlines for your drive. Include tasks such as promotional activities, collection dates, and sorting events.

  4. Promote the Drive: Use your company's communication channels like emails, social media, and posters to spread the word. Encourage employees and their networks to participate.

Your giving makes a difference in the lives of children who need help the most!
